18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) with spinal cord compression of more than three vertebral levels caused by disk herniation, the posterior ossification of longitudinal ligament, cervical spondylosis, or degenerative spinal canal stenosis; (2) aged 18 to 80 years; (3) who did not response to regular conservative treatment and who were scheduled for posterior cervical laminoplasty; and (4) who were fully informed and consented to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) who were unable to undergo 3.0T MRI; (2) with history of spine surgery; (3) with surgical related injury to the spinal cord or nerve root, such as C5 palsy and did not sufficiently recovered at the last follow-up; and (4) with spinal cord compression at C2 level.
