Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged over 60 years; 2. Patients with clear awareness and willing to sign informed consent; 3. Patients who were diagnosed with koa in the past; 4. In most of the past month, the patients with knee joint pain were assessed by NRs (0-10 linear visual analogue scale) as 3-7 points; 5. Patients who did not receive the eight section brocade training and quadriceps muscle strength training before the intervention.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with serious / uncontrollable complications (such as hypertension, diabetes, myocardial ischemia, unstable angina, renal failure, mental disease) or neurological diseases affecting the lower limbs (such as muscle weakness or poliomyelitis after stroke); 2. Patients with acute trauma and knee replacement; 3. Patients with severe deformity of lower limbs (genu varus, valgus, etc.); 4. Patients who have received hormone and intra-articular injection in the past 3 months; 5. Patients unable to walk; 6. Patients with a long history of regular exercise before the start of the experiment.
