40 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) meet the diagnostic criteria of perimenopausal period; 2) aged 40 to 60 years; 3) waist circumference >=85cm, waist circumference/height (WHtR) >=0.50 or waist-hip ratio (WHR) >=0.85, BMI>=24. All 3 criteria were met or 2 of them were met; 4) subjects who have not received weight loss within 3 months; 5) sign informed consent and volunteer to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. secondary obesity: hypothalamic syndrome, pituitary tumor, Cushing's syndrome, hypothyroidism, insulinoma, polycystic ovary syndrome; Uterine or ovarian malformation or after hysterectomy or ovariectomy and during pregnancy or lactation; Subjects with severe diseases including hyperthyroidism, diabetes, malignant tumor, heart, liver, kidney, hematopoietic system and psychosis; 2. had major gastrointestinal surgery (such as gallbladder and appendectomy) within 5 years; Had major bowel resection; Inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease, or indeterminate colitis; Irritable bowel syndrome; Persistent, infectious gastroenteritis, colitis or gastritis; 3. chronic constipation; Persistent or chronic diarrhea, h. pylori infection (untreated); Gastric or intestinal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal or colon polyps; 4. not used antibiotics within past 3 months; 5. poor compliance and other conditions not suitable for electroacupuncture.
