Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with instrument separation during root canal treatment; 2. The fragments are located in root canals and the residual dentin thickness is sufficient after establishing straight-line access to the coronal end of the instrument; 3. Aged between 18 and 60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of major systemic diseases and infectious diseases; 2. The fragments goes beyond the apical foramen; 3. Residual dentin thickness is not sufficient after establishing straight-line access to the coronal end of the instrument; 4. The researcher believes that there are other inappropriate conditions.
