DME with favorable prognosis:Intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF agents

DME with unfavorable prognosis:Intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF agents

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older; 2. Diagnosed with diabetic macular edema and needed to get intravitreous injection; 3. More than 6 months after the last intravitreous injection, panretinal photocoagulation and introcular surgery; 4. HbA1C is less than 10%, systolic blood pressure is less than 160 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is less than 90 mmHg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of ocular injury; 2. Glaucoma, ocular hypertension, uveitis; 3. Macular edema is triggered by other diseases; 4. Vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment; 5. Other maculopathy such as epiretinal membranes and vitreous macular traction.
