20 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 20-70 years old, gender unlimited, conscious, with or without invasive mechanical ventilation; 2. Patients with at least one leg without fracture or skin defect; 3. Within the first 48 hours after admission to ICU, the patient's condition was not in acute aggravation stage, Apache II score was 0-20; 4. Patients who are expected to be treated in ICU of our hospital for more than one week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are delirious and unable to cooperate with the treatment; 2. Patients with original limb function defects or neuromuscular diseases; 3. Patients with skin defect or trauma or external fixation at the treatment site who are expected to be treated in our ICU for more than 1 week; 4. Patients receiving total parenteral nutrition; 5. Patients with sarcopenia; 6. Patients with contraindications of neuromuscular electrical stimulation: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; pathological progression of multiple sclerosis; with pacemaker; malignant tumor; tuberculosis; acute suppurative inflammation site; bleeding site; thrombophlebitis; tetanus; treatment site with large metal foreign bodies.
