Interventions

Group A:2.0g oral-placebo will be administrated every 8 hours from admission day to the day before the surgery while 2.0g oral TXA will be administrated every 8 hours from POD1 to POD3
Group B:2.0g oral-TXA will be administrated sequentially every 8 hours from admission day to POD3

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with a hip fracture, treated surgically with internal fixation or arthroplasty.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Complicated with multiple fractures or open fractures; (2) Active bleeding (like gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebral hemorrhage, etc.); (3) Systematic thromboembolism (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary thrombosis, etc.); (4) Coagulation dysfunction; (5) Combined with serious neuromuscular diseases; (6) Allergic to TXA.
