Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged between 65 and 90 years; (2) Patients with gastrointestinal tumors expected for elective surgery under sevoflurane general anesthesia (2h-6h); (3) ASA Physical Status Classification I-III; (4) Agree to participate in the study voluntarily, and sign the written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with preoperative history of schizophrenia, and/or taking typical and atypical antipsychotic drugs; (2) Patients with preoperative cognitive dysfunction based on MMSE scale; (3) Severe functional impairment of hearing, vision, and language system; (4) Critically ill, severe renal dysfunction (requiring of renal replacement therapy), severe hepatic dysfunction (Child-Pugh classification C); (5) Patients planning to enter the ICU after surgery; (6) Patients with difficult airway that require awake intubation or have been diagnosed with moderate to severe OSAS; (7) Forehead infections or allergies that not suitable for EEG electrode placement; (8) Patients with allergies or contraindications to conventional anesthetics; (9) Patients participating in other clinical studies at the same time.
