Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke was made according to the 2018 AHA/ACA guidelines; 2. New infarcts were confirmed by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) after this acute event; 3. The diagnosis of atrial fibrillation was made according to the 2014 AHA/ACC/HRS guidelines.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients hospitalized for less than 7 days without detecting AF; 2. Pregnant women.
