Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To be included in the study sample, patients were diagnosed as having severe OSA (apnea-hypopea index, AHI>=30/h). The mandibular retrognathia was evaluated by the dentists by taking cephalometric radiographs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were: patients had inadequate tooth support to retain the MAD, patents had temporomandibular joint disorders, patients had severe periodontal disease, patients with other untreated sleep related disorders.
