Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We respectively reviewed consecutive thoracic spinal surgeries performed in our hospital from March 2011 to March 2020. A total of 957 posterior thoracic surgeries were performed. The study population diagnosis included: fracture/trauma, scoliosis, vertebral tuberculosis, EMSCT: extra-medullary spinal cord tumor, IMSCT: intra-medullary spinal cord tumor, OPLL: ossification of posterior longitudinal ligament, thoracic spinal stenosis (TSS) or thoracic disc herniation(TDH), pathologic diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients were unable to provide informed consent; 2) Patients suffered from the stroke with residual neurological disorder; 3) Patients received other spinal surgery or treatment previously; 4)Patients were alcohol or drug abusers; 5)Patients had epilepsy history.
