Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with type II / III esophageal gastric junction adenocarcinoma diagnosed by gastroscope and pathological biopsy (i.e. the center of tumor is 1 cm to 5 cm above and below the esophageal gastric junction); 2. Patients with perfect clinical stage diagnosis before operation, including abdominal enhanced CT and / or ultrasonic gastroscopy; 3. Patients with clinical stage of ct2-4n0-3m0; 4. The patients with ECoG <=2 can endure D2 lymphadenectomy; 5. Patients who are able to follow the program during the study and are willing to sign the informed consent; 6. Patients without gastrointestinal operation history, chemotherapy or radiotherapy history.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with residual gastric cancer, recurrent gastric cancer, multiple primary abdominal and pelvic cancer or 5-year history of cancer; 2. Patients who failed to receive standard D2 lymphadenectomy; 3. Patients with metastatic gastric cancer or other gastric cancer confirmed during operation; 4. Patients with non gastric cancer confirmed by postoperative pathology; 5. Lymph node sampling or report does not conform to the research specifications; 6. Patients with uncontrollable medical diseases (including unstable angina, myocardial infarction and cerebrovascular accident within 6 months); 7. Patients who can not receive general anesthesia or surgery due to the condition of other organs in the whole body; 8. Patients with uncontrolled epilepsy, central nervous system disease or mental disorder; 9. Patients who need immunosuppressive therapy for organ transplantation 10. With severe uncontrolled repeated infection or other serious uncontrolled accompanying diseases; 11. Patients who received continuous systemic steroid therapy; 12. Pregnant or lactating women of childbearing age; 13. Patients participating in other clinical trials at the same time.
