Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis (refer to diagnostic criteria of Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines for Osteoarthritis (2018 Edition) issued by Chinese Orthopaedic Association); (2) Aged 50 to 70 years old, no limitation in gender; (3) With typical clinical symptoms of knee osteoarthritis for 3 months to 5 years; (4) With Visual Analogue scale (VAS) score above 30mm and below 70mm; (5) The lesions were included in Stage I, Stage II and early Stage III according to the X-ray photograph; (6) Having not received any medication or physical therapy in the past 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with acute joint injury, tuberculosis and tumor of knee joint, complicated with exudative synovitis of knee joint, joint swelling, rheumarthritis, rheumatoid disease, gout and other painful diseases of knee joint, complicated with serious heart and lung diseases, hypertension and mental history were excluded. (2) The disease was in the advanced stage, with joint deformity and serious damages in articular cartilage. (3) With cognitive impairment and poor compliance. (4) Patients who have received surgical treatment for knee osteoarthritis in the past and have metal foreign bodies in local knee joints and the cardiac pacemaker. (5) Pregnant and lactating women.
