Interventions

experimental group:remove the pericardial and mediastinal drains as long as the last 4 hour drainage is less than 40ml and it's more than 36 hours after surgery
control group:remove the pericardial and mediastinal drains when the volume of drainage less than 100ml within 24h

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18-70 years; 2. Preoperative echocardiagram shows EF value is no less than 40%; 3. Plan for elective sternotomy cardiac surgery, include: valve replacement, valveplasty, great vessals replacement, ASD repair, cardiac tumor removal; 4. Pericardial and mediastinal drains will be placed after surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Postoperative suspected active bleeding or thoracic exploration; 2. Postoperative unstable hemodynamic; 3. Early postoperative ventricular fibrillation or cardiac arrest; 4. Early postoperative death; 5. Perative method change.
