Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65 years or older; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grades I to III; 3. preoperative minimal neurological status scale (MMSE) score> 23 points; 4. junior high school education level or above; 5. Applicants for neostigmine; 6. Endotracheal intubation in patients undergoing gastrointestinal tumor surgery under intravenous anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Obvious neurological and psychiatric disorders; 2. renal dysfunction (blood creatinine> 177 umol / L) or active liver disease; 3. recent use of sedative hypnotics, analgesics and antidepressants; 4. history of drug and alcohol abuse; 5. severe visual and Hearing disorders that affect communication; 6. electrolyte disturbances; abnormal blood glucose; 7. pre-operative infections or respiratory complications; 8. neostigmine contraindications.
