Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Those patients with pleural effusion indicated by imaging examination should be considered as tuberculous pleurisy; 2. Patients with indications of thoracentesis and expected collection volume of pleural effusion not less than 100 ml; 3. Patients with informed consent and voluntary subjects (children under the age of 18 need the signature of legal guardian at the same time).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have started anti tuberculosis treatment for more than one week; 2. Patients who are not suitable for the study according to the actual situation.
