40 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged > 40 years; 2. Idiopathic onset; 3. Gait/balance disturbance alone, or plus dementia, urinary incontinence, or both; 4. Evans index > 0.3; 5. The communication of the ventricles with the spinal subarachnoid space is evident through lumbar puncture; 6. The improvement of symptoms following tap test (TT) or external lumbar drainage (ELD).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary hydrocephalus; 2. Obstructive hydrocephalus; 3. Chiari malformation; 4. Parkinsons disease; 5. Alzheimers disease.
