Sex/Gender
Male

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged < 60 years; 2) Presence of low back pain, radiculopathy, or neurogenicclaudication; 3) A single level of disc herniation as shown by MRI or CT; 4) Type III PRAF at the same level and confirmed on the CT scan; 5) The use of FELD without previous surgery; and 6) Follow-up data available for 1 years postoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) A history of lumbar surgery; and 2) The presence of spondylolisthesis, spinal infection, tumor, spinal deformity, or other lumbar disease.
