Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) patients were selected based on a history of amenorrhea for >1 y before 40 y of age and serum FSH levels >40 mIU/mL; POR (poor ovarian response) patients with DOR (decreased ovarian reserve) were recruited based on the Bologna criteria. The minimal criteria needed to define POR when at least two of the following three fea-tures must be present: 1. advanced maternal age or any other riskfactor for POR; 2. a previous POR; 3. an abnormal ovarianreserve test (ORT).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with chromosomal abnormality, endometrosis, thyroid gland dysfunction, previous ovarian surgery, and pelvic radio/chemotherapy were excluded. Patients whose husband are with chromosomal or sperm abnormality was also excluded.
