Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged between 18-80 years; (2) with newly diagnosed hypertension; or have a history of hypertension, with uncontrolled BP in the past 3 months (>=140/90 or >=130/80 (if the patient has diabetes/renal disease)) (3) Able to use a smartphone.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary hypertension; (2) Heart failure; (3) Hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction within 6 months; (4) Severe hepatic or renal disease (serum aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase levels three-time higher above the normal limit, or glomerular filtration rate (eGFR 221umol/L); (5) Planning to do surgery within 6 months; (6) History of malignant tumors; (7) Cognitive dysfunction or not able to take care of themselves; (8) Participating in other clinical trials.
