Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled to undergo craniotomy under general anesthesia; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists class II or III (Fitz-Henry, 2011); 3. Aged 20–80 years, of either sex; 4. Provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with abnormal liver or kidney function; 2. Patients with cardiovascular, respiratory, or endocrine diseases or a history of cardiovascular, respiratory, or endocrine diseases; 3. Patients with a history of taking vasoactive drugs; 4. Patients with water-electrolyte imbalance; 5. Patients who take a2-adrenergic receptor agonists within 4 weeks before surgery; 6. Patients with pathological obesity; 7. Patients with consciousness disorder, drowsiness, or coma before surgery; 8. Patients with second-degree or third-degree atrioventricular block; 9. Patients with severe mental illness; 10. Patients with allergic constitution; 11. Lactating or pregnant women; 12. Patients who are participating in clinical trials of other drugs.
