Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) The first diagnosis must comply with ICD-10: Q17.20 for patients with microtia; 2) 6-50 years of age; 3) Healthy, with no history of systemic disease; 4) Reconstructed ear with low hairline. 5)Completed the autologous rib cartilage second-stage ear reconstruction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) normal hairline; (2) temporoparietal fascia flap (TPF) deficiency; (3) scars covering a large craniofacial skin area; (4) prior hair removal treatment; and (5) anotia-type microtia.
