Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) increased corneal diameter (>12mm) together with elevated IOP (>21 mm Hg), (2) Haabs striae, or (3) corneal edema and (4) increased cup-to-disc ratio.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with other ocular or systemic anomalies, (2) any previous surgery in the candidate eye and (3) a follow up period of less than 6 months.
