Interventions

Group 1:Alveolar recruitment manoeuvre, individualized PEEP and tidal volume=8ml/kg of predicted body weight
Group 2:Alveolar recruitment manoeuvre, PEEP=5cm H2O and tidal volume=8ml/kg of predicted body weight

18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female patients aged 18 to 85 years; 2. Body mass index (BMI) < 35 kg/m2; 3. The operation was planned under endotracheal intubation and general anesthesia, which was expected to take more than 2 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding; 2. Moderate or severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS;PaO2 / FiO2 = 5 mg/kg/min dobutamine was required to maintain > 2.5 or suspected heart failure based on clinical symptoms (hypotension, oliguria, pulmonary edema) and nt-probnp > 13 pg /ml; 4. Diagnosis or suspicion of intracranial hypertension (> 15 mmHg); 5. Mechanical ventilation (including CPAP) required for the past 15 days; 6. A chest X-ray or computed tomography (CT) scan reveals the presence of a pneumothorax or giant pulmonary bullae (COPD) in a patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, requiring oxygen or CPAP; 7. Patients participating in another intervention study.
