Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged >=18 years old; 2. visually significant cataracts; 3. regular corneal astigmatism >=1.5D and ocular axial length >=25.5mm; 4. informed consent obtained.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. irregular astigmatism; 2. any corneal pathology, subluxated lenses, uveitis, posterior segment pathology (e.g., macular degeneration or retinopathy), glaucoma; 3. a specular microscopy endothelial count < 2000 cells/mm2 and prior corneal or ocular surgery; 4. pathology of iris.
