40 Years to 69 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria of study site: 1. Choose 2 counties each in the eastern, central and western of Shandong Province according to the level of economic development; 2. Started upper gastrointestinal cancer screening before 2012, with an annual screening task more than 1000; 3. Establish cancer registry sysytem and death surveillance systerm that cover all residents. Inclusion criteria for participants: 1. Permanent 40-69 years old residents in target areas; 2. Willing to participate and competent to provide written informed consent; 3. No mental illness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer or other cancers 2. People with other serious illnesses that cannot tolerate endoscopy examnation; 3. Contraindications for endoscopic screening (e.g. allergy to iodine solution or lidocaine).
