18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. age between 18 to 65 years old; 2. a diagnosis of moderate and severe depressive disorder according to International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems Tenth Revision (ICD-10) criterion; 3. 17-item Hamilton Depression Scale total score >=14.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. history of hypomania and mania; 2. pregnant or lactating women, or planning pregnancy; 3. severe risk of suicide (the risk of suicide item score in HAMD-17 scale >= 3); 4. received MECT in past 6 months, plan to receive MECT or no respond to MECT; 5. received systematic psychotherapy in past 1 month or plan to receive systematic psychotherapy; 6. history of severe physical diseases and any medical conditions that may influence on research therapy; 7. contraindication of remote ischemic conditioning therapy; 8. other diseases that are unsuitable for the current clinical research; 9. participating in other clinical researches, participated in other clinical researches in past 3 months, participated in current clinical research or other situations that are unsuitable for the current clinical research.
