Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. meet the Diagnostic criteria of depression: DSM-5 (); 2. the main residence is in Chengdu Basin without long-term (more than 2 weeks) history of living in other places in the past one year; 3. never taken any antipsychotic or antidepressant drugs; 4. never taken antibiotics in the past one month; 5. aged 18 to 45 years old; 6. volunteer to participate in the study and sign a written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. suffering from serious physical disease (especially metabolic diseases affecting intestinal flora), substance dependency and nervous system diseases; 2. suffering from other mental diseases; 3. suffering from condition affecting psychological assessment and testing, for example, color blindness, color weakness, deafness, stuttering, etc.
