Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for PDR; 2. PDR with tractional retinal detachment or continuous non-absorption of vitreous hemorrhage requires PPV surgery; 3. Patients with not received PPV surgery before.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe proliferative vitreoretinopathy and need loosen the retina; 2. Patients with large-scale traction retinal detachment; 3. Patients with macular holes before or during surgery; 4. Patients with other serious eye diseases besides PDR, such as uveitis, endophthalmitis, etc.; 5. Patients with contraindications to PPV surgery, such as severe hypertension, abnormal liver or kidney function, etc.
