18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Lumbar disc herniation; 2. 18-60 years old; 3. Could complete follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The reason of the symptoms was trauma, infection, or neoplasm; 2. Presented with lumbar canal stenosis, lumbar instability, bilateral symptoms, or could not underwent PTED; 3. Whose operative levels was not L4/5, L5/S1, or multilevel; 4. Suffered psychiatric problems or cognitive impairment; 5. Had a previous surgical history.
