Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA 1-2; 2. Aged 18-80 years; 3. Patients requiring general anesthesia with tracheal intubation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Proposed airway, maxillofacial and neck surgery and relevant operation history; 2. Recent history of respiratory infection or sore throat; 3. Preoperative evaluation of intubation difficulties (malampati grades III and IV); 4. Poor exposure of intubated laryngeal structures (Cormack Lehane grades III and IV); 5. No less than 3 times of intubation test under direct vision of laryngoscope failed; 6. Cancer, diabetes and other drugs not suitable for glucocorticoids; 7. Oral or nasogastric tube required; 8. No allergy to budesonide or other steroids; 9. Pregnancy.
