18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) aged >=18 years; 2) preoperative imaging or colonoscopy biopsy was pathologically diagnosed as rectal cancer; 3) ECOG score 0 or 1; 4) tumor distance from anal margin <=10cm; 5) complete clinical data; 6) subject and family members are able to understand the study plan and willing to participate in the study, and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) previous anal surgery; 2) suffered from major organ dysfunction and could not tolerate surgery; 3) preoperative neoadjuvant radiotherapy; 4) distant metastasis (liver and lung) was found before surgery; 5) patients transferred to laparotomy due to bleeding, pollution and other reasons during the operation 6) emergency operation with intestinal obstruction; 7) there was anal dysfunction before surgery; 8) patients or family members cannot understand the conditions and objectives of this study.
