Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Genetic documentation of 5q SMA homozygous gene deletion or mutation; 2. SMA type 1, type 2 or type 3 individuals; 3. have a certain cognitive ability to understand the simple instructions, parents can cooperate with the study and signed informed consent of parent(s) or guardian(s) .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of other diseases, besides SMA which would affect motor function; 2. support with BiPAP ventilator for more than 12 hours/day; 3. undergone surgical orthopedics, or couldn't finish the evaluation without orthotics or assistance; 4. ongoing or planning to receive a medication treatment; 5. Unable to complete this two days study.
