Inclusion criteria of T. marneffei patients: T. marneffei patients meeting any of the following criteria should be selected: (1) T. marneffei were observed in sputum, tracheal suction, BALF, lung biopsy, pleural effusion, bone marrow smear, skin exudate or lymph node smear after Wright's staining under microscope. The typical morphology of the T. marneffei was round or oval with obvious transverse septum (usually in macrophages); (2) T. marneffei was isolated from sputum, tracheal aspirate, BALF, lung biopsy, pleural effusion, bone marrow smear, skin exudate, lymph node smear or blood; (3) Histopathological examination of lung biopsy specimens, enlarged lymph node biopsy specimens or diseased skin specimens showed that there were T. marneffei, pyogenic granuloma, central necrosis and a large number of monocyte macrophages infiltration. 2. Inclusion criteria of healthy controls: (1) Not infected with T. marneffei. (2) No lung or systemic infection. (3) No definite hypoimmunity disease, tumor, chronic basic diseases such as diabetes, and other diseases which can affect local or systemic immunity. No long-term use of immunosuppressant, monoclonal antibody, hormone. (4) The age and sex of healthy controls were similar to T. marneffei patients. 3.
