40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged between 40 years old to 80 years old; 2) more than 180-degree synechial closure of anterior chamber angle on gonioscopy; 3) IOP higher than 21 mmHg under the use of more than two glaucoma eye drops; 4) mean deviation of visual field worse than -12dB on Humphrey 24-2; 5) phakic eyes, with or without history of laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Snellen visual acuity worse than 0.05; 2) history of ocular trauma; 3) history of intraocular surgeries; 4) uveitis, significant conjunctival scar, visible neovascular on iris or anterior chamber angle, and other severe eye diseases which will affect the visual function significantly, such as age-related macular degeneration and pathogenic myopia; 5) aphakic or pseudophakic eyes; 6) the number of corneal endothelium < 1200/mm2.
