Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly diabetic patients undergoing laparoscopic intestinal surgery (age 60-80 years), regardless of gender; 2. Patients diagnosed as type 2 diabetes according to the diagnostic criteria for diabetes proposed by WHO before surgery, and the score of quality of life specific scale for diabetes patients was >= 20 points; 3. Diabetic patients who have been treated with insulin for 5-25 years and the duration of insulin use is >= 1 year, the blood glucose control after insulin treatment is good, and the diabetic nephropathy stage is grade 3-4; 4. ASA class II - III cardiac function NYHA class 1 or 2; 5. Voluntarily accept the drug treatment and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe respiratory diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, liver and kidney dysfunction, and cardiac function level 3 or above; 2. Diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmosis coma and other serious diseases affecting their survival and mental patients; 3. Patients with hypersensitivity to dexmedetomidine or special contraindications; 4. The operation failed and data was missing; 5. Participated in other clinical experimenters within three months.
