Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 and 80 years old; 2. Be able to understand and sign informed consent; 3. Meet the diagnostic criteria agreed by Chinese experts in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune encephalitis: (1) Subacute onset (rapid progression of less than 3 months) of the following symptoms: 1) One or more symptoms suggested of limbic system involvement: short-term memory loss, seizures, and psychiatric symptoms; 2) Syndromes of encephalitis: clinical presentations of diffuse or multiple lesions of central nervous system; 3) clinical presentations of basal ganglia and / or diencephalon / hypothalamus involvement; 4) Nonorganic mental disorders. (2) At least one of the following, or combined with tumor: 1) CSF pleocytosis (white blood cell count of more than five cells per mm3), or lymphocytic inflammation in CSF, or positive oligoclonal bands; 2) Neuroimaging or electrophysiological abnormalities: abnormal brain MRI or PET, or abnormal electroencephalogram. 3) Discovery of tumor related to autoimmune encephalitis; (3) Definite diagnosis: positive neural cell-surface antibodies; (4) Reasonable exclusion of alternative causes. Possible autoimmune encephalitis should meet: (1), (2), (4). Definite autoimmune encephalitis should meet: (1), (2), ?, 4. In clinical practice, there exist autoantibody-negative autoimmune encephalitis. Therefore, patients meet the diagnostic criteria of possible autoimmune encephalitis were included in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with pregnancy; 2. Patients who have participated in other clinical trials in recent 3 months.
