Age
50 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. stroke confirmed by Computed Tomography(CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and being the first single clinical stroke, occurring in the last 3 months; 2. unilateral lower limb dysfunction; 3. no severe deficit in visual, attentional, or language comprehension.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. bilateral cerebral hemisphere lesion; 2. respiratory or heart failure; 3. brain, spinal cord or other nerve injury; 4. fracture of upper limb(s); 5. history of previous stroke with residual function impairment; 6. cognitive impairment; 7. inability to communicate through any language or sign language. Signed consent forms were obtained from all patients.
