Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients who underwent atrial fibrillation catheter ablation in the Cardiology Department of our hospital from 2014 to 2020.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Transient atrial fibrillation secondary to other reversible diseases (electrolyte disturbance, thyroid disease, acute pericarditis, infection, etc.); 2. moderate-severe valve stenosis or insufficiency, or after mitral valve replacement surgery; 3. congenital heart disease; 4. Myocardial infarction or coronary bypass surgery occurred within 3 months before catheter ablation; 5. severe respiratory dysfunction; 6. Thrombosis in the left atrial appendage during ablation; 7. Patients who were pregnant or planning to become pregnant at the time of the operation; 8. Suffering from a malignant tumor that requires surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy; 9. Life expectancy is less than 1 year; 10. Patients who died of severe complications during perioperative period; 11. Heart surgery planned during the follow-up period, such as coronary artery bypass surgery or valve surgery; 12. Patients who refused to participate in the study or did not cooperate to complete the follow-up plan.
