Interventions
Control:single-dose normal saline injection
Group 1:single-dose 0.1 mg/kg dexamethasone intravenously (IV) 1 hour before surgery
Group 2:single-dose 0.1 mg/kg dexamethasone (IV) 24 hours after surgery
Group 3:single-dose 0.1 mg/kg dexamethasone (IV) in the following 3 days after surgery

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. primary total knee replacement surgery; 2. Aged 18 to 90 Years;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of thromboembolism (i.e., DVT, or pulmonary embolism (PE)), thromboembolism, recent arterial thromboembolism events (e.g., myocardial infarction or stroke), hypercoagulability, hemophilia; 2. In addition to recent use of glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants or combined with autoimmune diseases; 3. exclude patients who are allergic to anesthetic drugs in this study; 4. with or refuse to accept blood products.
