Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 45 and 90 years; 2. Diagnosed as early age-related macular degeneration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with exudative age-related macular degeneraton; 2. Suffering from other retinal or choroid lesions diseases; 3. Suffering from severe cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, neurological disease or servious renal impairment; 4. Suffering from diseases that affect nutrient absorption or digestive tract diseases, such as crohn's disease; 5. Taken lutein and it's related nutritional supplements in the past half a year.
