Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients older than 18 years old after acute severe pancreatitis operation are included. Individuals who voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent can be the subjects of the experimental group.Healthy individuals over the age of 18 who voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent can serve as subjects of the control group

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. previous history of gastrointestinal surgery; 2. gastrinoma; 3. suffering from intestinal tuberculosis or inflammatory bowel disease; 4. chronic renal insufficiency and pneumonia existed before the onset of pancreatitis; 5. cystic fibrosis of the pancreas; 6. pancreatic cancer; 7. acute attack of chronic pancreatitis; 8. recurrent acute pancreatitis; 9. before admission to our hospital, patients with a history of using trypsin replacement therapy to treat fat diarrhea or with a history of exocrine dysfunction; 10. patients previously hospitalized in our hospital have died and cannot be enrolled; 11. prior to the onset of acute pancreatitis, the patient had a previous history of diabetes; 12. patients with previously unknown chronic diarrhea before coming to our hospital for treatment.
