Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients who need mechanical ventilation in the ICU; 2. Tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation were started within 24 hours after enrollment; 3. Mechanical ventilation time is at least 72h.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnancy; 2. Those who stay in ICU due to cardiac surgery; 3. Aspiration (to exclude pneumonia caused by chemical factors); 4. Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; 5. Immunosuppressive status (meet one of the following conditions): (1) White blood cells 750mg; (3) HIV infected persons; 6. Thrombocytopenia: platelet count 1.8; 7. Those who are allergic to chlorine; 8. Conditions do not allow oral care (such as oral mucosal inflammation); 9. Estimated survival time 24h; 12. Refusal of tracheal intubation; 13. Refusal to sign informed consent.
