65 Years to 100 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) admitted to the ICU of Beijing Geriatric Hospital; 2) artificial airway (endotracheal intubation) was established through incision of the mouth, nose or trachea for invasive mechanical ventilation; 3) aged >= 65 years; 4) dementia was diagnosed on admission to ICU.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) ventilator dependency; 2) death; 3) treatment discontinued or abandonment.
