Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a. All children who do not meet criteria of surgery but meet the diagnotic criteria for refractory epilepsy (ILAE2010) b. Have not tried ketogenic diet before c. Age between six-month and ten years old d. Frequency of seizure more than four times per month e. Guardians agree with the treatment and sign on informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a. Have fatty metabolic liver disease and other metabolic diseases; b. have fever or infection; c. KD treatment contraindications: diseases that interfere with glucose and fat metabolism, or metabolic diseases of the liver (diabetes, carnitine deficiency, mitochondrial enzyme deficiency, ketogenic hypoglycemia, etc.); d. Exclude patients with serious diseases of digestive system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system and urinary system and immune deficiency.
