Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: aged >= 18 years, IOP <= 21 mm Hg, VA < log MAR 1.0, and SE between +1.00 and -6.00 D.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) other significant eye diseases unrelated to diabetes (including hypertensive retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusion, age-related macular degeneration, and uveitis); (2) major intraocular surgery (including vitrectomy, cataract extraction, scleral buckling and glaucoma) performed in the past 6 months and a history of laser photocoagulation or intravitreal injection; (3) glaucoma or first-degree relatives with a family history of glaucoma; (4) any disease that causes poor scan quality (image quality = 300 µm in OCT.
