18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of Alcohol Dependence According to DSM-IV; 2. Be 18-60 Years of Age; 3. Hans Male.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Had a history of infectious diseases; 2. Had cardiac, neural, renal or hepatic diseases; 3. Had metabolic disorders such as obesity [body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m2] and diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, other chronic inflammatory diseases; 4. Had neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson diseases; 5. Took antibiotics, glucocorticoids, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs during the 2 mo preceding enrollment 6. Took probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics and any other nutrients containing omega-3 PUFAs; 7. According to DSM-IV, have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, Alzheimers disease or other substance abuser except nicotine; 8. Use of microbiota-influencing medications except SSRIs, SNRIs, NaSSAs, Benzodiazepines, SGAs; 9. Sobriety longer than 4-5 days preceding admission; 10. Night-shift worker or other occupations that affect the rhythmicity of gut microbiota; 11. Irregular diet habits that may alter the gut microbiota; 12. Oral manifestations such as periodontitis and dental caries.
