60 Years to 120 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. type of surgery: total joint arthroplasties (including hip replacement and knee replacement); 2. Intraspinal block; 3. aged >=60 years; 4. patients and their family members signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. American society of anesthesiologists grades IV and above; 2. Inability to communicate because of severe visual/auditory dysfunction or language barrier; 3. long-term use of sedatives or other mental drugs and alcohol abuse; 4. long-term use of hormones; 5. false cholinesterase deficiency; 6. previous history of functional neurosurgery or brain injury; previous history of schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson disease, or severe dementia; preoperative MMES score < 24 or combining with preoperative delirium; 7. patient refused to participate in the study.
