Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnosis of AP required at least two of the following three features: 1) abdominal pain consistent with acute pancreatitis; 2) serum lipase or amylase levels that are at least 3 times the upper limit of the normal range; 3) characteristic fundings from abdominal imaging; 2. Pancreatic tissue samples: 1) patients who need to removed peripancreatic necrosis by open operation and the patients and family members sign a informed consent to join the study; 2) patients with liver transplantation donors and their families sign a informed consent to join the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chronic pancreatitis; 2. Previous diagnosis of diabetes; 3. Family history of diabetes; 4. Pancreatic tumor; 5. Other diseases that affect blood glucose homeostasis; 6. Patients who refused to sign their informed consent to join the study.
