Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients included in the study were admitted to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) after birth. When vancomycin treatment started, patient's postmenstrual age (PMA, the sum of gestational age (GA) and postnatal age (PNA)) was less than 37 weeks. Gender was not limited; 2. All patients were treated with vancomycin for at least 3 days, and at least one reliable vancomycin serum concentration was assayed; 3. Patients had complete clinical data.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Vancomycin was not used to treat infection during clinical therapy; 2. Patients had missing basic information and clinical data were incomplete; 3. Patient's PMA was beyond 37 weeks when vancomycin treatment started; 4. The duration of vancomycin treatment was less than 3 days; 5. Vancomycin serum concentration was not obtained or lower than the quantitative limit during the treatment.
